What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Care Specialist position at Quicken Loans?

The Client Care Specialist is responsible for all communication with clients after a loan has been conditionally approved. The primary function of the Client Care Specialist is to ensure clients are well informed of any outstanding items needed to move a loan to closing. They’ll work with both external and internal clients and build relationships to ensure a smooth process.  

Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with all clients using email, telephone and fax
  • Quickly and efficiently obtain all client conditions required throughout the loan process
  • Assess and understand underwriting conditions in order to communicate them to clients
  • Maintain professional communication with clients, vendors, underwriters and mortgage bankers
  • Maintain high energy and work calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment 

Requirements

  • Previous experience in the Mortgage industry preferred
  • Computer and software literate with the ability to learn new systems quickly and adapt to new technology
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong sense of urgency
