Responsibilities

• Create a top-notch customer experience by delivering fast, friendly, and helpful service while keeping fresh food stocked, high-quality, and ready to enjoy.
• Keep the store moving by cross-training across deli, café, bakery, and cashier roles—jump in wherever the team needs you to keep operations running smoothly.
• Follow the playbook by preparing food, handling transactions, and completing tasks accurately while following safety, sanitation, cash, and loss prevention standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store—inside, outside, and behind the scenes—so everything runs efficiently and looks great for customers.
• Support the team and the business by staying informed on policies, helping the team hit daily goals, communicating with leadership, and contributing to sales and operational success.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to lead, support, and communicate effectively with team members in a fast-paced retail or food service environment.
• Strong customer-first mindset supported by positive attitude and interpersonal skills.
• Proven reliability and accountability with consistent attendance.
• Solid problem-solving ability with attention to detail, plus basic computer, math, and analytical skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to learn quickly, complete training, and consistently align with company values.
• Prior shift leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Pay is from $17.75- $18.25 / hour QuickChek & Murphy USA take into consideration a wide range of factors when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: experience, skill sets, training, licensure and certifications, education, as well as business and organizational needs. The listed range is specific to the base hourly rate or annual salary and does not include additional benefits, perks, or bonus eligibility (when applicable) comprising the total benefits package.
