Description

The Warehouse Associate is a professional who is responsible for fulfilling the logistics behind receiving, processing and storing inventory according to purchase orders. They also ensure that shipping schedules are met with attention to detail to ensure timely and accurate delivery and loss prevention. 

Essential Duties & Job Functions:

• Receives verbal instructions from warehouse operations leadership.
• Obtains product from racking, pallets, bins, or shelves.
• Inspect products for defects and damage
• Picks/counts customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is picked.
• Check, verify, and fill out customer orders accurately according to S.O.Ps and clients’ requirements.
• Matching Shipping labels to packing slips. 
• Identifying correct products and quantities from Packing Slips, Warehouse Management System and Master Pick Tickets
• Stages orders to the correct area when order has been picked or packed.
• Organize items on pallet as needed.
• Re-packs and re-organizes products in storage areas and pick locations.
• Organize stocks and maintain inventory.
• Organize warehouse space.
• Communicating with Managers, Leads, and Warehouse associates. 
• Learning through Constructive Criticism. 
• Meeting targeted Orders Per Hour or Units Per Hour (OPH/UPH) outlined by Management. 
• Able to come to work on time and one the days scheduled consistently, with few or no absences.  
• Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures.
• Complete all other tasks as needed 

Requirements

Mandatory Job Qualifications:

• Warehouse background.
• Basic Math skills
• Able to demonstrate a willingness to keep learning and improving.
• High level of energy and drive to work with the warehouse employees.
• Excellent people and communication skills to be able to work with differing personalities.
• Maintain neat, clean, and orderly warehouse appearance. 
• Ability to work extended hours/over-time as needed.
• Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures and guidelines. 
• Ensure proper and full-time use of Personal Protective Equipment. 
• Operate a forklift (If certified), pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.
• Use a computer, a tablet, or any other tool required for daily operations.
• Operates any materials handling equipment safely and efficiently as required.
• Ensures that the work area is left clean and tidy at the end of each shift.
• Assists in maintaining the sanitation, security, and safety of the warehouse.
