Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including urgent care, long-term care, and memory care facilities. This role requires a commitment to patient care, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience in medical documentation and familiarity with behavioral health practices will be advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs and patient health information accurately.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, especially those in memory care or behavioral health settings.
- Help with mobility assistance, including lifting and transferring patients safely.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the patient care area.
- Document patient interactions and care provided in compliance with medical office standards.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Support children’s healthcare needs when working in pediatric settings or Level I Trauma Centers.
Requirements
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant or equivalent experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Experience in urgent care, long-term care, home care, or memory care is highly desirable.
- Ability to lift patients safely and assist with mobility challenges.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- Familiarity with medical documentation processes is essential.
- Previous experience working with children is a plus.
- A compassionate demeanor and commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
