Summary
We are seeking a Corporate Sales Representative for a Japanese health food manufacturer to expand sales channels to major US supermarkets. This position will have discretion in the West Coast area and will be responsible for everything from developing new business to building relationships with existing clients. Industry experience is welcome. This role will primarily involve visiting clients, with an expectation of coming into the office once or twice a week.
Essential Duties
- Drive revenue growth by securing product listings and sales contracts with new and existing clients.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities primarily with American supermarket chains (e.g., Ralphs, Nelsons).
- Conduct full-cycle B2B sales activities, including client meetings, product demonstrations, negotiations, and closing deals.
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing clients.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure accurate communication of product knowledge and distribution strategies.
- Occasional promotional activities, including organizing and overseeing product demonstrations and events.
Working Hours, Working style
Flexible schedule with direct sales calls (outside sales).
- At least 1-2 times in the office per week.
Working Location
Marina Del Rey, CA
Occasional business travel required.
Salary/Benefit
$72,800 - $83,200 Exempt

Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience, ideally in wholesale and retail, specifically dealing with mainstreams.
- Proven ability to independently manage full-cycle sales processes.
- Demonstrated capability for establishing long-term client relationships.
- Preference for candidates experienced in food product sales or grocery-related industries.
- Bilingual abilities (Japanese and English) highly desirable but not mandatory.
- Commitment to long-term employment; candidates with frequent job changes are discouraged.
