Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Commercial Refrigeration Technician. The Commercial Refrigeration Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing commercial refrigeration systems. You will work with various types of refrigeration units, including walk-in coolers and freezers, ice machines, and other commercial equipment.
Job Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair refrigeration systems, including compressors, condensers, and evaporators.
- Perform routine maintenance on refrigeration equipment to ensure optimum performance,
- Install new refrigeration components as needed.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues in refrigerated systems.
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including service reports and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial refrigeration.
- EPA Certification (Type I, II, or Universal) required.
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, electrical components, and HVAC principles.
- Ability to read and interprets technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
