Role Description
This is a full-time in-person position for an Armed Security Guard based in Springfield, MO, with hourly pay ranging from $20-$35. The individual in this role will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of designated locations, conducting routine patrols, monitoring surveillance systems, and responding promptly to emergencies. Additional duties include enforcing property rules, reporting incidents, completing required documentation, and collaborating with local authorities or emergency services when necessary.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in surveillance, threat detection, and security equipment usage
- Strong situational awareness and ability to make quick, accurate decisions under pressure
- Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods
- Experience in conflict resolution, de-escalation techniques, and emergency response
- Familiarity with reporting protocols and completing incident documentation
- Required: Valid armed security guard license and eligibility to carry a firearm
- Preferred: Previous experience in protective services, law enforcement, or military
- Excellent communication skills and ability to remain composed in high-stress situations
