Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Laundromat Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for meeting or exceeding daily production, maintaining the cleanliness of the facility, assisting customers, and ensuring efficient operation of laundry services. Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with their laundry needs in a courteous and professional manner
- Efficiently wash, dry, fold, and process linens and garments to ensure high-quality results.
- Consistently meet or exceed daily production targets (measured in poundage) while maintaining attention to detail and adherence to quality standards.
- Operate and monitor laundry machines to ensure proper functioning
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundromat including washing stations, waiting areas, and restrooms
- Handle cash transactions accurately using cashiering and cash handling skills
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and resolving issues promptly
- Perform routine cleaning tasks to uphold hygiene standards
- Manage basic math calculations for transactions and machine operations
- Restock supplies as needed and report any maintenance issues to management
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is preferred
- Experience with dry cleaning or laundry services is a plus
- Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures and equipment operation
- Basic math proficiency for handling cash transactions and machine settings
- Prior cashiering or cash handling experience is advantageous
