What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rebuild/Reconstruction Estimator - Restoration Services position at Quick Restore LLC?
Build the business. Earn what you’re worth.
Quick Restore is growing fast in the Phoenix market — and we just made it bigger. With the recent acquisition of Doan Restoration, we’re expanding our rebuild and reconstruction capacity across the Valley. We’re looking for a Rebuild Estimator who wants to grow alongside us and earn in proportion to the results they drive.
This role is for someone who knows that their real earning ceiling shouldn’t be set by a salary band. If you’re great at building relationships, writing tight estimates, and closing work, your income should reflect that. Our new compensation structure puts roughly half of your target earnings in your hands — tied directly to the profitability you deliver.
Why this role, why now
- Quick Restore and Doan Restoration are combining forces — two established brands, one growing platform, with a robust pipeline of residential and commercial work across Phoenix
- Right Restoration Partners is PE-backed and actively scaling — this is a role with real career trajectory, not just a job
- You’ll own the estimating process end-to-end: from first site visit to signed contract and final billing reconciliation
- Compensation is redesigned to reward high performers — great estimators won’t be capped by a conservative base
What you’ll be accountable for
You convert opportunities into signed, profitable jobs. Specifically:
- Conduct on-site property evaluations and produce detailed estimates using Xactimate and Matterport that hold up through the insurance review process
- Build trust with property owners, insurance adjusters, HOA boards, and commercial property managers — and convert that trust into contracts
- Identify and work through the obstacles that keep jobs from being signed or entering production; exhaust every reasonable path before closing a file
- Write and get approved all supplements and change orders, coordinating with adjusters and clients to protect both the customer relationship and job margin
- Maintain clean, timely updates in internal systems so billing, collections, and project management always have what they need
- Collaborate with production and operations teams on complex or stalled projects to find workable solutions
Compensation structure
We’re moving to a 50/50 model — a competitive base plus performance-based variable compensation tied to overall monthly job profitability. The more efficiently and profitably you close and execute work, the more you earn. Total Target earnings estimate is $110,000 to $130,000.
What you bring
- 4 years of restoration estimating experience (residential and/or commercial)
- Xactimate proficiency — this is non-negotiable; Xcelerate and Matterport experience is a strong plus
- A track record of successfully negotiating with insurance carriers and closing jobs, not just writing estimates
- Strong written and verbal communication skills — you can explain a complex scope to a homeowner and to an adjuster, and know when each needs a different approach
- Experience in commercial or large-loss environments is preferred but not required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; this role requires regular local travel to job sites
We’re not looking for a checkbox resume. We’re looking for someone who is accountable, competitive, and knows how to close.
Benefits
- Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance
- Health savings account (HSA)
- Paid time off and paid holidays
- AD&D coverage
- Career growth opportunity within a rapidly expanding platform
