Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs in a lively, positive manner
- Process cash transactions accurately using cash registers and financial software
- Handle cash drawer management, including balancing registers at shift end
- Support retail sales efforts by promoting products and upselling when appropriate
- Maintain accurate data entry for sales records and customer information
- Assist with store operations such as stock replenishment and visual merchandising
- Support retail lending activities by explaining financial products and processing loan applications or collections when needed
- Ensure compliance with cash handling procedures and retail math standards for accurate transactions
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in a fast-paced environment
- Gas Station experience, Id'ing customers and ensuring that you are making age appropriate sales
- Familiarity with banking or financial services is a plus, including loan processing or collections
- Experience working in retail stores or cashiering roles demonstrating strong customer service skills
- Basic math skills necessary for cash handling, retail math calculations, and financial software use
- Proficiency in data entry and familiarity with financial or retail software systems
- Excellent communication skills to assist customers effectively and promote products or services
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
