Responsibilities
- Operate vehicle wash equipment safely and efficiently, including automated car wash systems and manual cleaning tools
- Perform vehicle exterior washing, including pre-wash, soap application, rinsing, and drying to achieve a spotless finish
- Conduct vehicle interior detailing such as vacuuming, wiping surfaces, window cleaning, and deodorizing to enhance overall cleanliness
- Use automotive buffers and paint correction tools to restore vehicle paintwork and improve appearance
- Follow safe work practices when handling cleaning chemicals, heavy lifting tasks, and operating machinery
- Maintain the cleanliness of the auto detailing facility by organizing supplies and ensuring equipment is properly cleaned and stored
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer questions, explaining services offered, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the process
Requirements
- Prior experience with auto detailing or janitorial/custodial work is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Ability to operate standard passenger cars with manual transmission safely and confidently
- Knowledge of vehicle paint correction, buffing techniques, and automotive cleaning equipment is a plus
- Strong understanding of safe work practices when handling cleaning chemicals and heavy equipment
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks efficiently
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on vehicle cleanliness maintenance and quality standards
- Customer service skills that foster positive interactions with clients and team members
