Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Customer Service Associate to support daily operations and ensure a positive shopping experience in a high-traffic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver fast, courteous, and professional customer service
- Greet customers upon entry and thank them as they leave
- Complete sales transactions accurately, including verifying IDs for age-restricted purchases (alcohol/tobacco)
- Restock shelves and supplies (must be able to lift up to 25 lbs)
- Work in coolers (approx. 39°F) for stocking purposes
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including:
- Restrooms
- Beverage/fountain areas
- Cashier stations
- Floors, windows, doors
- Outdoor areas (free of trash and debris)
- Follow company policies and procedures, including updates as they arise
- Communicate effectively with managers and coworkers
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Dependable, punctual, and in compliance with dress/appearance standards
- Physically able to work on your feet for 8–10 hour shifts
- Comfortable lifting up to 25 pounds and working in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Detail-oriented and proactive with cleaning and general upkeep
Work Environment
- Busy convenience store setting
- Requires long periods of standing and physical activity
- Cold storage stocking as needed (in 39°F conditions)
