The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) provides essential support in hospital and long-term care settings, focusing on moderate acuity patients. This role involves delivering hands-on patient care, assisting with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. CNAs work mid shifts, including every other weekend, collaborating closely with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient support.
13 Week Contract with the option to extend
Shift Hours: 2pm-1030pm
Weekends - every other weekend
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with daily living activities
- Monitor and record vital signs accurately
- Assist patients with personal hygiene and mobility needs
- Maintain detailed medical documentation and patient observations
- Implement infection control protocols
- Support equipment maintenance and cleanliness
Qualifications
- 1 years certified nursing assistance experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
- Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Strong skills in patient care, vital signs measurement, and infection control
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Empathy and solid time management skills
