Quevera has an exciting opportunity for a Test Engineer 2, responsible for installing, integrating, and testing operational equipment and software to ensure compliance with system designs, technical requirements, and established standards. In this role you will apply strong testing expertise to improve software quality by promoting best engineering practices related to testability, accessibility, scalability, and performance, and contributes to the development and execution of automated testing frameworks, supports CI/CD pipeline evolution, and maintains the testing infrastructure required for reliable and efficient software delivery.

Duties And Responsibilities
Install, integrate, configure, and test operational software and system components in accordance with design specifications and technical standards
Plan, prepare, execute, and document system integration and test activities for medium-sized or moderately complex systems and projects
Perform manual and automated testing, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing
Develop, review, and maintain test strategies, test plans, and test cases aligned to system requirements
Design, develop, and execute automated test scenarios and integrate them into continuous integration and continuous delivery workflows
Contribute to and enhance automated testing frameworks using industry-standard tools and scripting languages
Support CI/CD pipeline improvements by integrating test automation and improving test execution efficiency
Analyze test results, identify defects, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues
Maintain and support test environments and testing infrastructure across Linux-based platforms
Promote software quality best practices across engineering teams and contribute to continuous process improvement
Required Experience
Ten years of overall technical experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional experience on projects with similar design may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree
