Duties and Responsibilities:
- The software engineer develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems based upon documented
requirements and documents test results. Resolves software problem reports. Utilizes software development and software
design methodologies appropriate to the development environment. Provides specific input to the software components of
system design to include hardware/software tradeoffs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government
Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual
software components.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Implement data pipelines at scale, including both the synthesizing of new pipelines and the refactoring of existing pipelines
- Monitor and improve existing data science tools in support of transition from development to production systems.
- Design, implement, and enhance ML analytics using a wide variety of Python libraries including, but limited to, PyTorch,
- Train, test, track and curate models using standard tools and practices.
- Integrate GitOps for continuous integration and deployment of models using Docker scaling.
- Use AWS services such as EC2, S3, and RDS for building and deploying applications.
