Quevera is seeking a highly skilled Senior Storage & Backup Engineer with an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph in Laurel, Maryland to support the Corporate Storage Team.
In this role, you will monitor and manage enterprise backup systems, support backup appliances and storage arrays, troubleshoot SAN issues, and work with customers and the ISSO to support backup operations, vulnerability patching, and SSP reauthorization.

Quevera is seeking a highly skilled Senior Storage & Backup Engineer with an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph in Laurel, Maryland to support the Corporate Storage Team.
In this role, you will monitor and manage enterprise backup systems, support backup appliances and storage arrays, troubleshoot SAN issues, and work with customers and the ISSO to support backup operations, vulnerability patching, and SSP reauthorization.
Job Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage backup systems, including NetBackup, Cohesity, Commvault, and Rubrik.
- Work with customers to add new servers and virtual machines to backups and troubleshoot issues.
- Configure new backup solutions when purchased.
- Troubleshoot and coordinate break/fix activities for backup appliances, including NetBackup, Cohesity, and Rubrik.
- Troubleshoot and coordinate break/fix activities for Oracle ZFS, NetApp, VAST, and IBM storage arrays.
- Monitor and resolve SAN issues using command-line troubleshooting and zoning.
- Work with the ISSO to ensure vulnerabilities are patched.
- Work with the ISSO to support SSP reauthorization.
- Participate in scheduled rotational after-hours on-call support.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required.
- Security CE or higher certification.
- Ten (10) or more years of relevant experience as a System Administrator and/or Storage Administrator.
