Duties And Responsibilities
Performing physical inventory of technology assets in offices and data centers. The inventory verifies the asset data accuracy and billing information. From the main office download existing inventory data on handheld scanners. Take scanners to a local offsite location to conduct the inventory as a team. Return to main office to upload captured inventory data. Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures by examining records, reports, operating practices, and documentation. Typical workdays are 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
The Asset Auditor shall have five (5) years of experience that may include a combination of work history and education. Experience with asset inventory and reconciliation procedures, ticketing systems, and data bases a plus.

- Conduct Physical Inventory of technology devices located across multiple local buildings and Campuses, ensuring 100% visibility of equipment across the enterprise.
- Walk office floors and data centers with handheld scanners to collect and update asset data.
- Return to the main office to synchronize captured asset data for reconciliation.
- Manage the logistics of site entry by proactively submitting access requests and obtaining necessary clearances for restricted office and data center environments.
- Utilizing online tools to research site specific maps as well as points of contact
- Prepare periodic and special purpose reports as required.
