Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrician to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems across various commercial and industrial sites. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards and industry regulations, including the National Electrical Code (NEC). Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment on construction sites and existing facilities.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical installations.
- Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, and power tools to complete electrical tasks efficiently.
- Test electrical systems using instruments like ohmmeters, ammeters, and multimeters to diagnose issues accurately.
- Work with low voltage and high voltage systems in compliance with NEC standards to ensure safety and reliability.
- Collaborate with construction teams, frame carpenters, and other trades to coordinate electrical work within project timelines.
- Follow safety protocols rigorously, including proper handling of power tools and adherence to construction site safety practices.
Experience
- Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings is essential.
- Familiarity with construction site procedures and blueprint reading is required.
- Hands-on experience working with low voltage and high voltage electrical systems.
- Skilled in using testing equipment such as ohmmeters, ammeters, and schematics for troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of NEC regulations and safety standards related to electrical installations.
- Ability to work effectively on construction sites with a focus on safety, precision, and teamwork.
