Packer - 2nd Shift / Mon-Thurs - 10 hrs

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packer to join our team. The Packer plays a crucial role in the final stages of our production process, responsible for packing, weighing, labeling, and quality control of completed items for shipment or storage. This role requires following company and customer guidelines for packaging to ensure that our products reach their destination in premium condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Pack, weigh, and label completed items for shipment or storage.
• Follow all customer and company guidelines regarding packaging to ensure items arrive at their destination in a premium condition.
• Identify and dispose of defective items before they are shipped to customers.
• Properly use packaging materials, including hand tools, glues, nails, padding, etc.
• Assemble daily orders by shipping location or any other shipping categories.
• Fill out packing and order forms with the relevant shipping information.
• Keep complete records of all consumable materials that go through the packing station.
• Participate in cross-department training and collaborate with team members for optimum performance.
• Perform any other duties required to support business operations and facilities maintenance as occasionally or permanently assigned by Management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a similar packing or warehouse role is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and follow established procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Basic computer skills for filling out electronic forms.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and job assignments.
