REPORTS TO: Chief Operating Officer/Program Administrator
HIRED BY: Program Administrator /Chief Operating Officer
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: No
WORK HOURS: Monday -Friday 7am-3pm

Job Summary:
Youth Support Administrator
The Youth Support Administrator is responsible for maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment and routine for youth. This position is responsible for ensuring that youth are safe and secured in the facility and in the community. This position is also responsible to provide clerical/administrative support across the team-managing office supplies, photocopying, filing etc. The Youth Support Administrator will ensure that the rest of the staff has adequate support to work effectively.
The Youth Support Administrator is responsible for:
A. Undertake routine administration tasks.
B. Operate computerized records/information, sort and distribute mails and memos as directed.
C. Work collaboratively with the following team (program administrator, case manager, residential manager to ensure that the collaborative process is maintained within the lens of integrative treatment design.
D. Organize a filing system for staff and youth served.
E. Supervise daily routines and responsibilities of youth.
F. Transport youth to school and appointments in the community.
G. Perform behavior management, therapeutic duties and crisis intervention.
H. Provide sight and sound supervision of youth at all times.
I. Supervise daily routines and responsibilities of youth including, meals, room care, clothing care and chores.
J. Participate in the planning and implementation of individualized treatment plan.
K. Welcoming stakeholders and other visitors in the facilities
L. Other duties assigned.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Ability to use the computer
- Ability to work independently as well as a member of a team
- Experience working with adolescents and/or in a residential setting and/or as a para- educator
- Ability to work effectively with diverse population
- High school diploma; Associate degree in office management or relevant field prefered
