Questville Residential Manager

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise in-home staff (Youth Care Worker)
  • Make sure the assigned duties of staff are completed
  • Responsible for recruiting and hiring staff
  • Set Staff’s schedule
  • Oversee youth well-being.
  • Oversee youth’s schedules and weekly appointments.
  • Coordinate trainings for staff to ensure their certifications are current
  • The Group Home Manager directs and manages the operations and activities of the home to act as liaison to all agencies involved in services for residents.
  • Ensure maintenance of the home is completed in accordance with the schedule
  • Maintain contact with residents’ families and case managers
  • Conduct staff meetings
  • Process Timesheets
  • Responsible for the management of residents’ medications (e.g. maintain supply, supervise passing of medications, and documentation)
  • Participate in required training
  • Maintain required records
  • Adhere to Agency Policies and relevant agency rules and regulations
  • Follow Questville Services policy and procedures
  • On call Duties 24 hours every other week
  • Perform other duties as directed/required.
  • Ensure the general maintenance and up-keep of the company vehicle assigned to the house * Coordinate with Building Manager
  • Completes weekly required reports and paperwork as needed
  • Attend monthly staff meetings with interdisciplinary team and schedule weekly meetings with Program Director, Clinical Director and Case Manager.
  • Conduct House meetings
  • Attend mandatory training on a yearly basis and in a timely manner.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Reports/Paperwork:

1. Ensure completion/submission of all required daily logs.

2. Complete chore list and have available by Friday before the following week chore schedule.

3. Complete weekly menu and have available by Friday before the following week’s menu.

4. Complete weekly or biweekly grocery list and have available during weekly meeting with supervisor for input.

5. Complete weekly activity schedule

6. Keep all receipts and have available for program director during weekly meetings.

7. Complete weekly house reports and review/present to program director during weekly meetings

8. Routinely review all required reports, logs, mail, etc. as needed, maintaining an organized filing system.

9. Conduct House Meetings with residents and provide the minutes to the Program Director.

Finance:

1. Coordinate all aspects of program financial procedures including but not limited to grocery shopping, Petty Cash.

2. Assure the proper and prudent expenditures of all funds * will be issued a bank card for household expenses*

25. Oversee the facilities’ general inventory and stock items for the residence including food, household supplies and individuals’ medications. Ensures receipts are submitted to Finance Office as per policy and procedure.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Majority of work will be in a home environment
  • May be exposed to stressful situations
  • Some auto travel required
  • Required to be on a rotating on call schedule

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
