Deposition Coordinator (Temp-Perm/On-site)

JOB SUMMARY:

Organize and print files for depositions and diligently review medical charts to verify number of reports previously submitted. Opens dates in calendar and schedules depositions. Communicates often with attorneys, adjusters, court reporters, physicians, and AES staff to organize depositions. Responsible for collecting deposition fees and updating account and attendance. Prints charts and provides electronic access to doctors for deposition preparation. Provides zoom links to staff and doctors and possibly assist in connection for zoom depositions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receive verbal and written correspondence from parties to schedule depositions of physicians
• Data entry in PMS ( Practice Management System )
• Make introductions between physician coordinators and parties
• Provide most recent reports to parties
• Check for pending supplemental reports
• Print newest deposition intake sheet
• Communicates and organizes chart delivery with other departments
• Prepare deposition chart for physician according to their specifications
• Review all previous reports have been paid by printing billing services sheets
• Identify previous deposition volumes
• Collect fees in advance
• Verify deposition day charts are received back from doctor
• Obtain copy of deposition
• Scan depositions for electronic storage
• Coordinate with AES business partners
• Update account deposition fees
• Duties subject to change

QUALIFICATIONS and REQUIREMENTS:

• Proficient Data Entry and Typing skills
• Basic computer software knowledge
• High school diploma or GED
• Strong written, verbal and listening communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Workers’ Compensation/Medicolegal experience preferred
• Able to work independently and in a team environment
• Good decision-making, analytical and problem solving skills
• Good attendance

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
