Role Summary
The RN – ER is responsible for providing rapid, high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department with varying levels of acuity. Success in the first 90 days includes efficient triage, strong clinical decision-making, and the ability to manage multiple patients while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
_ Deliver emergency nursing care, including triage, assessment, and stabilization of patients
_ Monitor patient conditions and administer medications using Pyxis
_ Document patient care and treatment plans using Cerner
_ Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for timely interventions
_ Provide leadership support and supervise care delivery when required
_ Float as Task RN based on unit requirements
Required Qualifications
- Licensure/Certification: Active RN license (California), BLS/CPR (Required), NRP (Required)
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent (Required), Master’s (Preferred)
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of clinical/ER experience (Preferred), supervisory experience required
- Technical: Proficiency with EHR (Cerner), medication systems (Pyxis), and emergency care equipment

- Shift: 3x12s Nights (36 hours/week)
