Questar III BOCES announces a vacancy for a full-time probationary Special Education Teacher. Our programs offer a highly supportive environment for students with varying disabilities. Our multidisciplinary teams work closely to offer support in the areas of social-emotional learning, academics, communication, and behavior.
Requirements:
- Proper NYS Students with Disabilities certification required (SWD 1-6, 5-9, or 7-12)
- Applicants who recently graduated and that are pursuing NYS Teacher certification are also encouraged to apply
- Preferred candidates will have dual certification, strong classroom management skills, a background in trauma-informed care, Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) and experience working with a team to implement Multi-tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)
