UR - Engineering - FT

General Summary 

The Engineering Rotational Program will provide high potential entry-level engineers the opportunity to professionally develop, participate in training and gain experience through a series of rotations, under the leadership of an assigned mentor, in the following areas: Product Service Line, Engineering, Manufacturing and Sales & Operations.  The program will also provide numerous opportunities to network, participate in social events and develop leadership skills, in addition to business acumen. At the conclusion of the program, program graduates will transition into one of the previously mentioned areas.

Essential Job Functions  

• Maintains a safe, secure and healthy environment by adhering to Company/Customer safety standards and practices and to legal regulations, alerting others regarding potential hazards or concern 
• Performs all duties as assigned and adheres to TEAM’s Core Values 
• Execution of 3 rotations among the following areas: Product Service Line, Engineering, Manufacturing and Sales & Operations 
• CAD modelling activities and MathCAD calculations under design engineer 
• Engineering reporting and R&D testing 
• Support functions for manufacturing engineering, planning and estimating 
• Present to executives as the conclusion of each rotation and as the culmination of the program   

Job Qualifications  

• Majoring in one of the following Engineering disciplines: Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, or Petroleum 
• Anticipated graduation date of May 2020
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, ability to work under time constraints, good interpersonal skills and a high degree of initiative 
• Excellent communication skills 
• Ability to read technical documents and engineering specifications 
• Exposure to 3D modelling software (SolidWorks preferred) and MathCAD 
• Comfortable working in a shop environment  

Work Conditions   

• Work is conducted in a semi-private office/cubicle setting 
• Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the core work hours of 9:30 am to 3:30 pm
