  • This is an on-site position with the potential to become hybrid after a 90-day review of the employee’s performance, job requirements, and business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct employee relations activities including, investigations, coaching & counseling employees, resolving workplace issues, and advising management on sensitive organizational issues.
  • Provide consultation to management to ensure consistent implementation of policies relating to performance and recommends appropriate course of action related to the Positive Direction (Disciplinary) process and termination.
  • Works with leaders and Sr. Director of Human Resources to establish retention goals for each program location. Assists with employee recognition programs, employee complaints, exit interviews, and employee engagement survey results at each location.
  • Serves as a resource to employees with respect to employee appeals of unresolved problems, discipline situations, and harassment claims.
  • Facilitate orientation courses for new hires.
  • Assists with unemployment claims and represent Quest at unemployment hearings when requested.
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance reviews, recognition, and morale.
  • Maintains compliance with employment laws and regulations, recommended best practices and reviews policies and procedures.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Manage special projects such as wellness programs, health fairs and other projects related to HR as assigned.
  • Must maintain strict confidentiality

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field required
  • 3-5 years in an employee relations or HR generalist role required
  • Florida Driver’s License with no more than two moving violations in the past three years
  • Able to work in the U.S. and not require visa sponsorship from our company now or in the future
  • Expert knowledge of computers and in MS Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint; HRIS database, Dayforce preferred, working knowledge of all office equipment.

Travel Requirements

  • This position requires regular travel to various sites within the Orlando region and occasional travel to locations in the Tampa region. A valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
