What You Will Do
- Acting as the liaison between the organization and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Managing purchase orders, tracking shipments, and resolving shipping discrepancies
- Creating project plans for resourcing effort
- Coordinating with program/project managers to align procurement needs with project timelines.
- Ensuring necessary materials are available for project schedules developing Line of Balance and overlap transition plan
- Weekly report out on progress and updates on look ahead activities
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or a related field preferred with 1-3 years of relative’ experience, In lieu of degree- 4-8 years of procurement experience acceptable
- Experience in procurement or purchasing,
- Project coordination skills supporting large projects helpful
- Proficiency in ERP software SAP preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with emphasis on mid-level Excel skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Due to the nature of the work, you must be a US Citizen

Work Requirements
This role is a Remote position supporting our site in Rockford, ILL

- You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
- Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Salary : $29 - $31
