What You Will Do

- Provide input to develop, and/ or optimize manufacturing processes for generator rotors and stators to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct time and motion studies to identify areas for process improvement and implement lean manufacturing principles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of new processes and technologies.
- Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Compile and maintain documentation for manufacturing processes, including work instructions, standard operating procedures, and process flow diagrams.
- Perform SAP transactions and work with the financial organization to provide updates to costing data for the transfer price round Jul & Apr.
- Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies in all manufacturing activities.
- Provide technical support and training to production staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the production of generator rotors and stators or similar components.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and process optimization techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings & BOMs
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Min. 2-3 yrs. Experience in Manufacturing & shop floor
- Excellent written and verbal communications.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to a changing work environment.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.

Work Requirements
This role is considered an on-site position located in Charlotte, NC
- You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
- Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Salary : $70,000 - $78,000
