Position summary
The FSW/ driver is responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely delivery of meals and food products from the commissary kitchen to local school district locations.
This position ensures that all deliveries arrive on schedule, accurately, and that food quality and temperature standards are maintained throughout transportation.
This position follows a school schedule Monday-Friday 7am-2pm. No nights, weekends, or holidays. This position starts in August.
When not making deliveries, the employee serves as an integral member of the commissary team by assisting with receiving and stocking deliveries, dish washing, cleaning and sanitation, and general support duties. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail oriented, self-motivated, and willing to assist wherever needed to support efficient commissary operations and outstanding service to our school district partners.
Qualifications And Requirements
Valid drivers license with a minimum of three years of safe driving history
Ability to successfully pass a motor vehicle record review
Must Meet All Company Vehicle Insurance Eligibility Requirements
Ability to successfully pass a federal background check and any additional school district required background screenings
Ability to safely operate company vehicles and transport food products and compliance with food safety
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry 50 lbs.
