Accounting Manager(MUST have Construction Industry exp)

Quest is seeking qualified candidates for an immediate Accounting Manager role. Looking for this person to have "Construction Industry Accounting experience"

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• The essential functions include but are not limited to the following: Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Prepare and manage financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and reports to guide decision-making.
• Maintain accurate and timely financial records in compliance with GAAP and other regulatory standards.
• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Manage cash flow, ensuring adequate funds for operational needs and capital investments.
• Coordinate and lead external audits and tax preparation processes.
• Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic initiatives.
• Mentor and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
• Collaborate with other departments to align financial operations with company objectives.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
• 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial regulations.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage and develop a team effectively.
• Experience in the construction or contracting industry is a plus.
