Role: Outside Sales Executive – Industrial Chemical Cleaning & Thermal Services
Position Overview
We are seeking a high-caliber Outside Sales Executive to drive business growth within our Specialty Industrial Chemical Cleaning division. Unlike traditional industrial service providers, our firm specializes in Online (In-Process) Cleaning solutions that allow refineries, petrochemical plants, and power generation facilities to restore thermal efficiency without the need for a total facility shutdown.
The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of Fired Heaters, Furnaces, and Fin-Fan Air Coolers and a proven track record of selling high-value, technical maintenance services to Reliability Engineers, Maintenance Managers, and Operations Leads.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Identify and close new opportunities for Specialty Chemical Cleaning and Vapor Phase Decontamination across the Gulf Coast industrial corridor.
- Technical Consultation: Conduct site walk-downs to evaluate fouling issues in Heat Exchangers, Convection Sections, and Radiant Sections.
- ROI Modeling: Present technical proposals that focus on Thermal Efficiency, fuel savings, and CO2 emission reduction through advanced Dry Chemical Cleaning and In-Process de-fouling.
- Account Management: Manage and expand existing relationships with key stakeholders in the Refining, Petrochemical, and Power Generation sectors.
- Strategic Sourcing: Collaborate with plant managers to incorporate specialized cleaning into both Turnaround (TAR) schedules and routine Maintenance (OpEx) budgets.
Required Qualifications & SEO Keywords
- Experience: 5 years of Outside Sales or Business Development experience within the Industrial Services or Downstream Energy sector.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Refinery process equipment, including Fired Heaters, Boilers, Fin-Fan Coolers, and Heat Exchangers.
- Core Competencies: Must understand the difference between high-pressure hydro-blasting and Specialty Chemical Cleaning / Vapor Phase Decon.
- Communication: Ability to communicate complex technical value propositions to Plant Managers and Procurement Departments.
