Director of Pricing & Proposals
Lead the strategy that wins business and drives profitable growth. This role blends high-level strategy with hands-on execution—owning pricing models, proposal excellence, and commercial discipline across complex industrial and energy projects.
You’ll partner with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Executive Leadership to shape competitive, value-driven bids, balancing margin performance with real-world execution in high-risk, high-stakes environments.
What You’ll Do
- Own and evolve pricing strategy across projects, services, rentals, and long-term contracts
- Lead high-value bids and major project pursuits, including turnaround events and multi-site agreements
- Oversee end-to-end proposal development, ensuring clear, compelling, and executable submissions
- Build data-driven pricing models incorporating labor, equipment, risk, and market dynamics
- Deliver insights through analytics on win rates, margins, and performance trends
- Standardize tools, processes, and content to accelerate proposal quality and speed
- Partner cross-functionally to structure deals that are both competitive and operationally sound
- Lead and develop a high-performing pricing and proposals team
What You Bring
- 8–12 years in pricing, proposals, or commercial strategy within industrial or energy sectors
- Proven success leading complex, multi-million-dollar bids and improving win rates
- Strong financial and analytical acumen with a strategic mindset
- Expertise in building pricing models and proposal processes that scale
- Executive-level communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
