What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mobile Phlebotomist - Health Fairs position at Quest Diagnostics?
ExamOne, a subsidiary of Quest Diagnostics, is looking to recruit Mobile Phlebotomists with excellent phlebotomy skills to join our team of Wellness events. We encourage ALL applicants to apply if currently working for companies doing Health Fairs. The health events are Venipuncture or Fingerstick.
Phlebotomists:
- 2 years experience in phlebotomy, able to perform fingerstick if required, and can take vital signs to staff Health Events for Quest Diagnostics' accounts.
- Events are usually Monday-Friday. Events are held at employer locations. Some events can start as early as 4 am, however most start around 6:00 am.
- The length of the screenings can vary from 3 to 7 hours, Events can have 2-6 examiners/phlebotomists.
Independent Contractor Position:
- All examiners/phlebotomists get a 1099-NEC at the end of the year for earnings of $600.00 or more. No taxes are withheld from your check.
- You are paid hourly for the events, from $27.00/hour for non-Leads to $30.00/hour for Leads depending on type of health event.
- The 1st 50 miles is on you, Mileage is paid over 50 miles at a rate of .725 per mile.
Areas of Coverage: Our office in Allentown covers approximately 10 counties in NE PA. Overnight at hotels are reimbursed for early morning events that are more than an hour away. Reliable car is required.
