The Specimen Management Manager is a high energy, charismatic leader with a strong people first mindset in a fast paced, high volume laboratory environment. They use data driven decision making and standard work to deliver measurable results and support a strong customer experience.
This role is responsible for end-to-end specimen management, ensuring accurate, timely, and reliable flow across testing platforms while maintaining high quality and compliance standards. The manager leads approximately 6 direct reports, including supervisors and trainers, developing leadership capability and driving alignment across teams and shifts.
Flexibility is essential, as this leader supports off shift and weekend coverage as needed. Overall, this role is critical to driving operational performance, team engagement, and consistent, high quality laboratory results.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday with some flexibility to work off shifts and weekends
This is an Onsite position with 6 direct reports including Supervisors and Trainers

Required Work Experience:
Minimum of 8 years laboratory experience with at least 4 years of direct supervisory experience in the clinical or anatomical pathology laboratory.
Preferred Work Experience:
Medical or production background preferred
Education:
Bachelors degree required.
Salary : $120,000 - $167,000
