Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma (DLO)
Location: Owasso, OK
Hours: Wednesday-Saturday
Essential Functions:
- Report to work on time and prepared for each scheduled shift
- Perform all assigned duties and processes, including tasks for which you are fully qualified and those within your demonstrated capabilities
- Maintain a positive, professional, and supportive attitude throughout the workday
- Work collaboratively as a team member and contribute to a respectful, productive work environment
Responsibilities:
- Perform tests in chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, coag, serology, blood bank and limited microbiology.
- Assist with phlebotomy and specimen processing.
- Follow employee policies, work with fellow employees in a professional productive manner
- Perform instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
Required Knowledge:
- General laboratory knowledge, including the use of computers; knowledge of QA and QC as well as knowledge of all areas of the laboratory.
Required Experience:
- A.A.S, Medical laboratory technology; BS Medical technology
Special Requirements:
- Ability to maintain a professional courteous and pleasant attitude in times of heavy workload and stress.
- Teamwork with fellow employees is a must.
- Keyboard skills are important as is multitasking.
- May be required to work overtime or other shifts or days as needed.
- Weekend rotation and holiday coverage required.
