Collections Services Specialist | Collegeville, PA
Monday to Friday
- Responsible for the selection, implementation and ongoing support of national collection network for the Employer Solutions and Lab Card.
- Maintains a constructive and collaborative working relationship with the appropriate vendors and collection sites that support the Employer Solutions and Lab Card business model.
- In addition, provides support and training to all Employer Solutions and Lab Card associates for building and enabling drug testing and clinical collection networks which provide services based on the needs of the customer.
- Also responsible for collection issue resolution for Blueprint for Wellness and ExamOne collections.
- Maintains and promotes efficiencies which streamline and produce cost effective services. Provides leadership and structure for problem solving and supports team members inter-departmental and cross-functionally.
- Constantly promotes a positive work environment and collaborates with cross-functional team members supporting multiple Business Units.
- Participates in the Employer Solutions, ExamOne, Lab Card and Blueprint for Wellness initiatives that are aligned with the respective business operating plans.
- Builds relationships with will all levels of management and executive teams internally and externally to communicate appropriate customer information.
- Verifies the appropriate collection network has been identified based on the clients’ needs and assures costs are aligned to support a positive operating margin.
- Identifies and implement processes that allow the collection network to gain exposure and provide robust services based on industry standards.
- Develops strategies for outbound cold calls to broaden collection network in order to gain additional services and penetrate geographical areas in which collection services are needed. This includes identifying and approving collection costs, negotiating contracts and outlining service expectations from the supplier.
- Schedules mobile collection events and provide support to Collection Specialist II with large event management
- Leads a minimum of one collection program initiative outlined by management and collaborates on recommendations to improve services and build network capabilities.
- Monitors customer programs to ensure they meet and/or exceed customer profitability models that have been developed to identify program gaps. This includes providing recommendations to sales, management and customers on the collection network that was chosen for their line of business.
- Provides recommendations to customers that allow them to manage their collection program in the most cost-efficient manner.
- Develops, recommends and supports all system and program enhancements in order to have the appropriate tools to manage a customer’s collection network.
- Advises Employer Solutions’ upper management, finance and legal of collection issues related to costs, pricing, possible litigation issues and agreement discrepancies, and take appropriate action to rectify situation.
- Provides on-going support to Employer Solutions internal and external customers along with collection site vendors that support our network.
- Initiates, creates and utilizes reporting tools to monitor customer and collection site utilization.
- Perform collection site evaluations to assure services meet the appropriate regulatory and Quest Diagnostics’ guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Work Experience:
3 - 5 years of customer service experience, 2 - 3 years of supply/product fulfillment and/or 3 - 5 years experience in the Employer Solutions organization.
Preferred Work Experience:
3 - 5 years of Employer Solutions experience preferred
Physical and Mental Requirements:
Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
Knowledge:
Proficient in Word, EXCEL, Outlook, Operating systems such as PeopleSoft, ORACLE, VB ZIP, QTN and QBS as they relate to Employer Solutions.
Skills:
- Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, analytical and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to implement, adapt to and manage change.
- Ability to communicate internally and externally with all levels of professionals via conference call, NetMeeting/WebEx and or in face-to-face meetings.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and lead initiatives with a high degree of accuracy and detail.
- Ability to set goals and achieve them by living the Quest Diagnostics values and following the operating plans of the supported business units.
