Collections Representative - West Hills, CA, Monday to Friday, Between 7:00AM – 5:30PM PST

This position is Remote in West Hills, CA. Interested candidates should be located within commutable distance to the office at 8407 Fallbrook Ave West Hills, CA 91304.

Pay range: $20.44 - $26/hour

Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing Third - Party AR by analyzing denied and un-responded claims
• Outbound calls to insurance carriers to appeal and check claims status
• Post explanation of benefits
• Coordinate with insurance carriers to reconcile / resolve any issues
• Familiar with explanation of benefits
• Maintain Compliance and HIPAA standards at all times
• Meet or exceed daily production standards by maintaining work list according to metrics
• Meet or exceed daily quality standards
• Perform other duties and functions as assigned
• Process insurance / patient refunds and adjustments
• Evaluate and respond to all emails request for any deposit issues in order to resolve in a timely matter

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED 
• Must be 18 years of age OR older 
• Ability to create and modify spreadsheets within Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work between the hours of 7:00AM – 5:30PM PST from Monday – Friday

                                                 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Medical Billing experience
• Familiar with explanation of benefits

                                                 

Telecommuting Requirements: 

• Reside within a commutable distance from 8407 Fallbrook Ave West Hills, CA 91304 with ability to come onsite for meetings  
• Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable) 

• Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
