We are a large and well-respected mental health therapy practdice in Madison, WI. We have two locations -- one downtown and one on the westside of Madison.
Role Description
The Mental Health Intake Coordinator will manage the client intake process, including scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and collecting necessary documentation. The role involves regular communication with clients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies to ensure an efficient admission process. Additionally, the Coordinator will provide support in maintaining accurate client records and coordinating with the broader care team for case management tasks. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Madison, WI.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Familiarity with Case Management processes and tasks in a mental health or related setting.
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology and Insurance processes, particularly as they relate to mental health services.
- Proficiency with administrative tasks, including record-keeping, scheduling, and use of relevant software systems.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a professional, organized, and timely manner.
- Experience in mental health services or similar healthcare settings is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in healthcare, mental health, or related fields are advantageous.
