What are the responsibilities and job description for the Relationship Mgr - Ind LN position at Queensborough National Bank & Trust?
This position will spend a majority of time creating, cultivating, and enhancing dealer relationships for the Sales Finance Division of Queensborough National Bank and Trust by working with marine dealers in Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. You will manage all aspects of the Dealer Relationships including creating new relationships for the bank and growing and maintaining existing relationships.
The position will be responsible for creating profitable dealer relationships for Queensborough National Bank and Trust and their Sales Finance Division. This position will be the primary face to face contact for the bank in regards to indirect lending and make sure that we are doing business with ethical and reputable dealers. It will always be the goal of the Relationship Manager that the bank is partnering with likeminded entities so that in all aspects we can operate in a safe, compliant, and profitable manner.
Essential Functions:
- Ability to work independently as most required work will not be performed within the office setting (75% of time outside networking, 25% in office)
- Ability to manage multiple relationships within multiple dealerships
- Ability to develop new business for the bank through approved dealer setup
- Ability to provide excellent service to bank’s dealer contact networks
- Ability to report and monitor key metrics in the bank’s dealer network
- Ability to develop additional opportunities for the bank as they request such as expanding collateral (for example RV lending) or expanding territories into additional states
- Must be able to work during non-traditional banking hours and one to two Saturdays per month. Typically, the Sales Finance department will be open for at least underwriting from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM Monday through Saturday
- Ability to create cross-selling opportunities and willing to introduce dealer personnel to bank personnel when appropriate
- Other duties as assigned
Dealer Relations
- Must work with Department Director and Credit Manager to obtain and maintain dealer agreements and relationships with new and established marine dealers in the Sales Finance market footprint
- Must be able to Underwrite and capture deals
- Must be a liaison between funding and dealer especially in handling problems and presenting solutions for both entities
- Must monitor all dealers and metrics of dealers to make sure bank is capturing profitable and good business from them
- Must monitor market competition and make sure the bank remains competitive and profitable as market and economy changes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or minimum 5 years of experience in Sales Finance or dealer industry
- Enthusiastic

Additional Requirements:
- Ability to travel in market footprint of GA, NC, and SC
- Overnight trips are required as necessary for business

- Required to maintain and keep updated an active and prospective dealer list
Experience
