Key Responsibilities:
- Accept deposits and cash checks to customers' accounts
- Cross-sell bank's services and products
- Process night deposit bags
- Sell cashier's checks and money orders
- Redeem U.S. Savings Bonds
- Accept loan payments and safe deposit box rent payments
- Answer customer inquiries and give balances
- Balance transactions at end of day and verify cash
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum six months cash handling & customer service experience required
- Previous teller experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills required
- Ability to operate online teller terminal required
- Successful completion of teller training and other required compliance training
- Professional demeanor and presentation required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite preferred
