What You’ll Do
- Lead therapeutic group activities (ADLs, social skills, communication, problem‑solving, recreation)
- Conduct assessments and intake interviews
- Contribute to individualized treatment plans
- Document patient behavior and maintain accurate records
- Report changes in patient status to licensed staff
- Provide patient care tailored to age, medical needs, and developmental level
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Attend in‑service education and training
Minimum Qualifications
Education / Certification / Licensure
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field OR four years of progressive experience in a behavioral health setting
Experience
- One year of behavioral health experience preferred (inpatient, outpatient, PHP, or IOP) within a healthcare environment is preferred.
