Responsibilities
I. JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for the smooth functioning of the department; interacts with customers to assure proper supplies and equipment are obtained and delivered, serves as lead person in area.
• Monitors computer systems to assure proper functioning and orders are placed.
• Performs duties in accordance with established department and Medical Center policies and procedures.

• Essential: seeing, hearing, and speaking.
• Frequent: standing, sitting, walking, stooping/bending, kneeling, finger dexterity; lifting, pushing/pulling and carrying usual weight of 10 pounds; reaching at and below shoulder level, repetitive arm/hand motions; static gripping of an object for prolonged periods, frequent gripping of an object.
• Occasional: climbing stairs, walking on uneven ground, squatting, twisting body, lifting, pushing/pulling and carrying weight up to 40 pounds; reaching above shoulder level.
• Operates pneumatic tube system, computer, copier, printer, patient care equipment, telephone, supply/exchange carts, and typewriter.

• Experience to demonstrate ability to operate automated inventory systems.
