Molokai General Hospital (MGH) is a 15-bed rural health care facility with a Critical Access Hospital designation, proudly serving the residents and visitors of Molokai. For the fourth consecutive year, MGH has been named one of the Top 20 Critical Access Hospitals in the nation for Best Practices in Quality by the National Rural Health Association (NRHA), based on performance data from the Chartis Center for Rural Health. This honor places MGH among the top-performing hospitals out of more than 1,300 CAHs nationwide.
MGH provides the island’s only emergency room and offers a wide range of services, including acute care, inpatient hospice, skilled nursing, and low-risk obstetrical care. We also provide primary care through our rural health clinic, chemotherapy, limited specialty procedures, diabetes management, family planning, physical therapy (including aquatic therapy), veteran’s services, and chronic disease navigation.
