Evening Stocker

Queen’s Price Chopper – Daytime Stocker Position

Full-Time or Part-Time

The primary purpose of the Daytime Stocker is to create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. The Stocker should smile, greet and be courteous to customers, work with management and all other associates to provide a high level of customer service. The Stocker will maintain stock and rotation of merchandise in the meat/seafood area and to perform other functions as required in the store.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Observe all store rules and company policies.

2. Maintain a neat, well groomed personal appearance at all times and observe company dress regulations.

3. Greet all customers and provide them with prompt and courteous service.

4. Observe shift -operating hours at all times as scheduled by department manager.

5. Excellent communication and customer skills.

6. Pay attention to details while stocking shelves, organize and build displays, help unload shipments and keep stockroom well organized.

7. Display merchandise in an attractive, appealing and neat manner.

8. Maintain general housekeeping and sanitation standards in compliance with store policy and state and local health regulations on an ongoing basis.

9. Comply with all safety policies and procedures.

10. Able to exert or lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and exert or lift negligible amounts of weight often.

11. Perform other duties as requested by management.

Position Requirements:

· Must be at least 18 years of age.

· High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalent preferred.

· Prior work experience preferred but not required.

· Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
