Queen May is an established retail business located in the heart of Cape May, NJ. With over 10 years in business and a strong local and seasonal customer base, we are known for our curated selection of jewelry, luxury bags, accessories and watches.
We are currently launching a new retail concept store in Cape May and are looking for motivated, detail-oriented sales associates to join the team from the ground up.
Position Overview
As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and elevated in-store experience. This is a customer-facing role that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and an interest in fashion, lifestyle, and retail merchandising.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service and build relationships with clients
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor
- Assist with merchandising and restocking
- Process transactions accurately through POS system
- Support daily store operations and opening/closing procedures
- Contribute to a positive and team-oriented environment
Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment
- Interest in fashion, lifestyle, and curated retail
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
