Responsibilities
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges
- Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with product inquiries or demos
- Manage cash handling procedures with precision, including balancing registers at shift end
- Upsell products and promote store promotions to enhance customer experience and sales
- Maintain the pastry case, and help people choose there bread, pastries and desserts.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing concerns promptly and courteously
- Support inventory management through stock replenishment and basic merchandising tasks
- BYO Brioche and toasting pastries at request.
Skills
- Proficiency in POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Previous supervising or leadership experience in retail or grocery store settings is a plus
- Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions and inventory counts
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and bilingual abilities preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
