Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable, flexible Cleaner to join our team in an on-call, fill-in capacity. This is the ideal role for someone who values variety and an adaptable schedule rather than a fixed shift. You'll step in to cover open shifts, fill in for team members, and handle cleaning needs across a range of locations as they come up. The right person is dependable, quick to respond, and able to jump into a new site and get it looking its best with minimal direction.
Both weekday and weekend positions are available — let us know which you prefer, or take a mix of both.
What Makes This Role Different:This position is built around flexibility and coverage. Instead of the same site every day, you'll be our go-to person when and where we need an extra set of hands. We're looking for someone who can:
- Pick up shifts on short notice when they're available.
- Cover for team members who are out sick or on vacation.
- Rotate between different locations as scheduling demands.
- Communicate availability clearly so we can plan coverage together.

Duties:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to established standards.
- Adapt quickly to the specific cleaning needs and layout of each assigned location.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, keeping them in good working condition.
- Follow safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly.
- Ensure all assigned areas meet cleanliness standards before the end of each shift.
What We're Looking For:
- Open, flexible availability and a willingness to fill in and cover shifts as needed.
- Reliable transportation to travel between locations.
- A strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to be reached when shifts open up.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Prior cleaning, janitorial, or custodial experience preferred but not required — we provide on-the-job training.
Pay & Benefits:
- $25 – $35 per hour for all time worked.
- 2-hour minimum per call-out — when we call you in, you're guaranteed at least 2 hours of pay even if the job runs shorter.
