Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Oracle / SAP FICO Functional Consultant with strong knowledge of financial and accounting processes, ERP implementation, configuration, and support. The ideal candidate should have experience in financial management systems, business process analysis, system integration, and working closely with finance and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze business requirements related to financial accounting and controlling processes.
- Configure, implement, and support financial modules within SAP FICO or Oracle Financials, based on project requirements.
- Work on General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, and Profit Center Accounting.
- Support financial closing activities, including month-end and year-end closing.
- Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams for enhancements and integrations.
- Perform system testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and issue resolution.
- Support data migration, reconciliation, and validation of financial data.
- Troubleshoot functional issues and provide ongoing application support.
- Collaborate with finance, accounting, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Prepare functional documentation, process flows, and end-user training materials.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in SAP FICO (FI/CO) or Oracle Financials.
- Knowledge of financial accounting, management accounting, and ERP business processes.
- Experience with ERP implementation, configuration, testing, and production support.
- Understanding of financial integrations with procurement, sales, and other business modules.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance, SAP ECC, Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), or Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.
- Knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliation, and period-end closing processes.
- Experience with ERP upgrades, migrations, and system enhancements.
- Relevant SAP or Oracle certifications are an advantage.
