Hiring: Application Developer – Application Modernization

📍 Location: Pittsburgh, PA (5 Days Onsite)

📅 Duration: 12 Months Contract (Extension Possible)

We are looking for a skilled Application Developer with strong expertise in Mainframe Modernization and Cloud Migration to join our team.


🔹 Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on in-place mainframe modernization and migration to cloud platforms (including z-cloud)
  • Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on modernization strategies


🔹 Required Skills:

  • Strong understanding of mainframe systems & modernization concepts
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • COBOL, Java, JSON, APIs, Microservices
  • Kubernetes, DevOps, SaaS, Edge computing
  • Db2, CICS, WebSphere, MQ
  • Network Security & Off-premises applications


🔹 Nice to Have:

  • Database migration testing across multiple platforms
  • Python scripting & automation development
