What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deployment Engineer position at Qubika?
We are looking for a Deployment Engineer to join our team!
At Qubika, we design, develop, and deploy custom software solutions for organizations making an impact through technology.
What we expect from you:
- Hybrid profile combining cloud architecture (AWS and/or Azure) with hands-on CI/CD experience: Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, Argo CD
- Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs/microservices in Python, ideally with FastAPI
- Willingness to travel to client sites across North America, Europe, Asia, and Oceania (avg. 3-4 weeks per quarter, sometimes on short notice)
- Strong customer-facing profile: able to work directly with clients, data scientists, and ML engineers to co-design solutions
- High ownership and strong end-to-end problem-solving skills; background in Mechanical Engineering is a plus
